Regarding the NBU requirements for assessing the financial/legal status of a legal entity/individual (financial institutions, insurance companies)
NEO EXPERT LLC provides services for the valuation of property / property rights of individuals and legal entities in order to assess the financial / legal status of a legal entity / individual, as required by the NBU Resolution "On Approval of the Regulation on Licensing and Registration of Financial Service Providers and Conditions for Conducting Financial Services Activities" No. 153 of 24.12.2021.
In order to assess the property status of an individual, in accordance with the requirements of clause 342 of Chapter 40 of Section V of the Resolution, an independent appraisal report prepared by an appraiser who may assess the value of property of an individual or a legal entity in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine is prepared and submitted to the National Bank and/or the auditor for the purpose of assessing the property status of an individual or a legal entity.
In addition, as required by clause 344 of Chapter 40 of Section V of the Resolution, the NBU has the right to inspect the documents of auditors and appraisers. When reviewing the appraiser's documents, the NBU has the right to contact another appraiser or a self-regulatory organization of appraisers to review the property valuation report.
Over the past few years, we have carried out valuations for accounting purposes (IFRS, balance sheet, audit, etc.), to determine and confirm the value of property pledged to banking institutions, to confirm the value of property (landmarks in Kyiv, land plots, households, building complexes, etc., as well as movable property and intangible assets (ownership rights to intangible assets, shares, equity interests, etc.), and for international courts (energy sector, commercial development, land plots).
Also, our specialists have the right to review property valuation reports in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the valuation of property, property rights and professional valuation activities in Ukraine", are members of the self-regulatory organization - Ukrainian Society of Appraisers and international organizations (Roman Alaverdov, Director of the company, is a member of RICS, TEGoVA, and is also a member of the Ukrainian Society of Appraisers Expert Council, and holds the title of "Leading Expert Appraiser" of the UTO, the Company's appraisers are members of the UTO).
